The consummate musician, Reid worked at his craft every day, constantly improving, growing, experimenting and bringing joy to the world through music, touching the lives of countless bandmates, mentors, friends and fans. His natural and charismatic stage presence was matched only by his musicianship and wonderful voice. Reid’s real passion, and his gift to the world, was his music. After being discovered at a bus stop, Reid worked as a model to support his dreams. Reid graduated from the Etobicoke School of the Arts, where he performed in many stage productions, and from Seneca College in Independent Music Production. Reid assumed the role of protector at the passing of their father, transitioned to being her confident and trusted advisor and then on to become Alex’s biggest fan and cheerleader. The bond between Alex and Reid was something truly extraordinary and magical to witness. Reid also leaves his grandparents, Ralph and Pamela Compton, uncle Benjamin and aunt Judy Compton, aunt Valerie Compton and cousins Liam and Jesse, as well as aunts Jennifer and Jane MacMaster, and cousins Danica, Keiran, Sinaed and Emily – all will desperately miss their family rockstar as he moves on to join his father John and cherished Lola, Daisy, Louis, and Lucky. Reid leaves behind his beloved mother Diana Compton and his adored sister Alex MacMaster. His easy smile, charm and irrepressible warmth instantly put everyone at ease and drew them in. Timber is globally regarded as one the most beautiful, versatile and naturally renewable resources. FSC is an international non-government organisation set up to promote the responsible management of the World’s forests. MacMaster uses natural timbers hand-picked from suppliers who source Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) certified timbers. The products, whilst technically challenging, are hand-produced using exacting techniques learnt and adapted from the world’s finest traditional craftsmen and bespoke wood furniture makers. This demonstrates an ecological awareness in line with best modern practices and adheres to ecological values and principles. The environment is ‘traditional meets modern’ with state of the art technology side by side with 1970’s, Wadkins and Sedgewick cast iron machinery, which has been lovingly restored to their former glory.Īlex designs for maximum output and minimum waste with some products using leftover materials from other ranges.
